Ukrainian Drones Strike Saratov Refinery in Deep Raid Into Russian Territory
Ukrainian long-range drones hit the Saratov oil refinery on 31 May, the deepest Ukrainian strike of the war. The wires have not caught up, so Monexus leaned on the open-source record and ran it as the lead it is.

How Monexus framed this vs the wire: Most Western wire desks on 31 May stayed inside their frontline-reporting routine, which is built for confirmation through General Staff briefings and on-the-ground footage. The Saratov strike lives outside that routine. Monexus weighted the open-source Ukrainian record, treated the target's identity as confirmed, and led with the Volga geography rather than the runway count. The wires will catch up; for the duration of 31 May we did not wait.
